How can you become a professional?....
How do you best start investing in art?
In order to invest successfully in art, you should be well networked in the scene, visit galleries and important events on a regular basis and always stay up to date by reading publications or trade magazines. Another thing is not to be underestimated when buying art: the right dose of good instinct. Developing a feeling for art does not happen overnight and requires time and dedication.
Especially those who are relatively new to the art market should consider giving professional advice. Here, for example, it is worth consulting an art consultant who supports the client in buying and collecting art, researching procurement options or establishing contacts.
If you are looking for professional support in the field of art management, you should not just settle for purchase advice and pure property search as a service. In particular, good advice also conveys expert knowledge, gives an insight into the artist's work and intentions and, overall, can provide a basic understanding of the technique and the art-historical context of the work. Often it is helpful if the counseling person himself has an artistic or art-historical context and therefore has an inherent enthusiasm for art and knowledge about the market.

Art after 45
The second documenta in Kassel in 1959 focused on abstract art and presented exclusively works that had been created after 1945. Her artistic director Werner Haftmann not only gave an overview of European abstract trends such as the Informel in the large-scale exhibition, but presented them together with works by the American Abstract Expressionists and coined the term "abstraction" as "world language".
What started in the 1920s with Wassily Kandinsky's watercolors was all the more up-to-date after the Second World War: Art's focus shifted from the process of inventing images to the actual painting process itself and the spontaneity of its execution. Bauhaus teachers, surrealists, and other Modernists had brought new artistic impulses through their immigration to the United States, which contributed to the development of the world's first independent US art movement with Abstract Expressionism. Action painting and color field painting of the 50s united the emphasis on the two-dimensionality of the painting surface and the preference for large formats.
As a counter-current to the ensuing minimalism and conceptual art, a new, expressive painting emerged in Germany and Italy in the late 1970s. The Transavanguardia and the Junge Wilde painted very colorful, expressive pictures with a quick, broad brushstroke. Even in contemporary art, abstraction with its many varieties is still important.
In the mid-1940s artists began to search for a new form of abstraction. Starting from Paris, as a counter-movement to geometric abstraction throughout Europe and in response to American abstract expressionism, a style of art emerged centering on the free, spontaneous creative process.
Soon, this style, which rather represents an attitude towards the painting process, received the name Informel, which means something formless. "Instead of realizing motifs in a realistic way, the artists emphasize color, canvas and materiality - this physical action, the spontaneous gestures and their traces in the picture are comparable to a jazz musician improvising." The Handelsblatt 2010 characterizes this style and its simultaneously created varieties such as Lyrical Abstraction, Tachism and Art Brut. "While American artists of action painting are recognized worldwide and are established on the art market, the art lover can acquire German abstract even comparatively cheap." The Handelsblatt continues.
Contemporary Pop Art
Discover exciting unique pieces and editions of Pop Art of our time.
Since the 1950s, Pop Art has been celebrating huge successes and has lost nothing of its relevance to this day. The focus on the clean lines, bright colors and on the essentials of a motif simply fit perfectly with the lifestyle of modern urban people. Last but not least, the retro waves of the last few years contributed to a revival of Pop Art - ironically tinged with that
Contemporary artists such as Jörg Döring or Janos Schaab successfully bring the aesthetics of Pop Art to the present. The inwardness of the sitter and the obvious joy in the subject make this art form equally attractive to viewers and artists alike.
"Designating any visual art as 'optical art' is as meaningless as speaking of acoustic music or haptic sculpture." In 1965, Bauhaus artist Josef Albers spoke so polemically about the then highly topical art style, which he had influenced through his work and through his theoretical writings. In fact, with few exceptions, visual arts are generally perceived visually; Optical theories and tricks were already used in Renaissance and Impressionist painting and are part of art history.
In the mid-fifties, however, a number of artists, including Victor Vasarely, created works of art that emanated from the preoccupation with visual perception, ie the process of seeing itself, and visually challenged the viewer. From this the Op Art developed as an art form, which is based on linear structure buttons and the color perspective. Using calculated laws of lines, surfaces and color combinations, she achieves illusionistic effects that are equally perspective and decorative: the viewer's eye is deliberately overstressed by color contrasts or graphic elements - black and white lines or structures, perspectives and moire. The fascination for the optics and the interest in the artistic handling of the visual process continue to this day, so that even contemporary artists deal with this phenomenon.

This is so contemporary -
Three uniformed overseers call rhythmically "This is so contemporary" as soon as the visitor enters the empty exhibition space. In doing so, they prance around him and the viewer, whether he likes it or not, himself becomes part of this confrontation with current art. This performance, with which Tino Sehgal (* 1976) recorded the German pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2005, shows just how provocative and intangible contemporary art can be and how broad the concept of contemporary art is. Contemporary art or current art encompasses an almost limitless range of topics and styles, but they are also translated into classical, less volatile genres such as painting, photography and sculpture. It is unified that it is created by contemporaries and is considered relevant by curators, critics and museums.
The hour zero of post-war art -
Works by Piene, Uecker and Mack
The works of Heinz Mack, Otto Piene and Günther Uecker - the founders and most prominent representatives of the artist group ZERO - are currently experiencing a renaissance on the art market. "Especially US collectors want to close the gap between abstract expressionism and minimalism as well as Op Art with Mack and Piene.", Wrote the art 2013 and recognizes a "newly awakened esteem" of the artists and rapidly increasing prices of their work; the Handelsblatt even speaks of a "price explosion".
In 1957, Mack and Piene proclaimed zero-hour post-war art in their Düsseldorf studio and called for an emancipation from classical genres and traditional art principles. Uecker joined them shortly thereafter and together they founded the artist group ZERO, which until its dissolution in the year 1966 beyond the borders of Germany became one of the most important avant-garde movements of the 20th century. The artists, whose works range from painting to sculpture to action-like actions, unite the desire to develop a new language of forms, in which light and movement are the central elements. They received significant impulses from Yves Klein, Lucio Fontana and Jean Tinguely, who participated in exhibitions and activities of ZERO.
In 2014, the Guggenheim Museum in New York held a much acclaimed exhibition for the artist group, which gave the ZERO wave an extra boost on the international art market. Until June 8, 2015, the exhibition can be seen in Berlin.
Pop Art: The birth of the superstar

Two phenomena revolutionized the cultural and everyday world from the 1950s onwards: Rock 'n' Roll and Pop Art. At concerts by Bill Haley in Germany, teenagers smashed furniture, and painters such as Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) and Andy Warhol provoked on the screen (1928-1987), the predominantly intellectually grounded, abstract painting art scene so sustainable and successful that they became true superstars of painting.
Pop Art and pop music subsequently entered into a symbiosis that deducted the term "culture" from its elite habitus. Warhol created a record cover for the Rolling Stones and The Velvet Underground.
The emergence of Pop Art is inconceivable without the sign language of advertising and the comic strip. In their radical departure from prevailing expressionist painting, artists such as Documenta participant David
Hockney in the UK or Wolf Vostell in Germany often use the means of collage to glare objects of everyday life, oversized picture worlds. Most of them lacked any depth of focus as a deliberate departure from academic painting. The viewer is addressed directly with clear objectivity in the image and reduced color, often only primary colors are used. Richard Hamilton is known as the "Father of Pop Art" with his collage "Just What Is It That Makes Today's Homes So Different, So Appealing?" from 1956, in which already all elements of this style emerge.
Pop Art soon expanded its spectrum beyond painting. The "LOVE" sculptures by Robert Indiana have become downright pop icons in their absolute reduction to the essentials, the core of a message. The critical flow of Pop Art is juxtaposed with the deeply consumerist ideology of its most prominent representative, Andy Warhol: "Anyone who wants to know all about Andy Warhol just needs to look at the surface, my pictures and movies and myself, and that's me behind it. "
Concept Art / Minimal Art
"Creed's contribution to the exhibition of the four candidates nominated for the Turner Prize 2001 was called 'The Lights Going On And Off', and that's exactly what it was: a showroom that shines every five seconds dived and then sank into darkness, light on and off all day long, nothing else, and that was supposed to be art, and winning the award drove the insult of the audience and the rainbow press to a climax. " In 2014, the art magazine recapitulates the work of the English artist, born in 1968, whose works are based on conceptual art from the 1960s and 1970s.
The indignation of the exhibition visitors and the media shows that conceptual art, although not a new art direction, is still controversial or simply not understood. Some works can only be explored by engaging with the artist and his thinking. The focus is on the idea as a purely mental conception. It is documented only through written records, photos, diagrams and calculations and only through thought-associative processes in the imagination of the beholder exist.
Conceptual art emerged from American Minimal Art, which in turn was based on hard-edge painting and color field painting as a counter-reaction to abstract expressionism: the simplest geometrically reduced forms or orders achieve the relationship of objects through material aesthetics to the room, the effect of light and the strictly reduced order its effect.

"Art, I am!"...
What is art? .... "I am art."Definition of art:
Art takes on complex relationships in all areas of life, and more creative perspective answers the spirit of Indiviudalität match in itself and draws from the collective Gedächntis and understanding of the world. Art is thus the only acceptable form of conflict develop culture and politics real and visionary.Art is communication
Mind and me ...
me and my work ...
my work and the next reason ...
Art is thus an entertaining evolierende chain reaction. Perhaps Art Evolution?
Art = The past, present and (or) future in their wide range of colors, shapes and sounds to show. For me, art is a form of expression of thoughts, feelings, emotions, but, unfortunately, often by commercial interests. You may be wondering now, what I mean. So I explain it to you.
An artist per se, every human being is of creating something that he thinks is art. Whether it was written, painted, sculpted, forged, declaimed or otherwise prepared.
The important thing is that there is, therefore, the work that needs to come out from the inside of the creator and that it precisely the man who created it, considers art.
Because True art can not be obtained on head pressure or with an order one. Art is about the Muse. Yes I know that word is prejudiced, one connects it with ancient myths or just one or a lover, or the places the artist in a state feely.
But, just that it is not, is not it. The Muse is a kind of phenomenon, rather a feeling that you wanted to give a figure in ancient times. A muse is a burgeoning idea, an association or even a clue to something that you will create.
In any case, the true artist, and thus the true art has this to do something as the origin, which inspires from within something.
But now the company set up an ad hoc basis have created something comes
want. Of course, it must be great, stunning, new and convincing. Simply put, something gigantic that all ideas met, if not exceeds.
And here starts the second part of my statement. For now I ask you, if as I just said, art comes with a Muse. How can they then with a contract, no matter by whom issued, be created?
The artist who is perhaps known for his works from his musical creative phases, is now to create something on command and although it is possible and often even artistic nature.
But it is a work to order.
If you ask me, write me a poem or write me a story, because you had the pleasure to read one of my works and I liked you. So I tell you simply "NO" because I do not live it. But the one who has chosen the art as bread and life merit. Must say "YES" and it is also.
See also commercialism "creates" art, but whether this works really should bear the title of art or rather commissioned art or just work? In my opinion, they should be demoted because they reduce the art in its value.
I'm not talking about artistic taste, because even though I like better than a Monet a Beuys, so I have to both recognize as art, as they both emerged from such an idea.
Art is self-realization, art has only the feelings of the artist is no longer expressed, and no less, is not about beauty !!For me, art is a form of communication. That is, the artist expresses not only his feelings, but wants the people with his work say something. He / she does not spontaneously and unwrought but processed so that it is understandable and enjoyable for the reader / viewer / listener. But sometimes even the incomprehensible pleasant or the unpleasant is meaningful. This art is a dialogue and not a monologue, I think it's also important that the artist has contact with his audience and the feedback takes care about what is normal for live performances, for writers or visual artists but should be."Art is an expression of their own culture"Art for me is a kind of self-realization and liberation.
Maybe even a little criticism. If you can do something that few can.- Everything is art
- Survival is -life Art is art - Art is dying
- Laughter is art - is not to laugh Art
- Whining at a high level is Art .- Not whining is Art
- Doing nothing is art - Art is thinking - Non-think is art
- Everything is art so art is nothing other than art.
Geez.Art is free figures from free spiritArt is a zweckfüßiger Sunrise in sausage glow of its own frequent lightness. Waiting a herausgepurzelten cheese princess on the verge of a frog loose Vaginalbrunnens. As the name of the site says it all: "Everything is art"
The way of individual lives, loves, suffers and works.
Then, when someone else may well something special, can
he used his art to others to enjoy it.Art transforms people through images, archetypes and Symole.
Art touches feelings and emotions.
Art awakens to new life.Love Art curious joy,
here is my proposal for the characterization of the concept of art.
Art is the art with the help of a medium, for example, (music, painting or even mathematics) to develop a language all its own. The use of these media is only once "only" a craft. In conjunction with an idea and creativity arises from art, but can not be shared must be shared."What is art"
This briefly worded question is deceptively simple.
Anyone who jumps up in his mind to do here made known, should know that it enters one of the oldest areas of employment of mankind. And seen do this from the perspective of those who art or take claim for themselves than buy from the perspective of whose who like art to be such, and some of their "understanding" and last but from the perspective of those who , judge the art or rather the art critics.
The description of what is art, therefore highly dependent on the angle of view of the art actors.
So art is for the artist or the artist certainly a form of expression for feelings, observations and findings. To convey a message where / her importance to him. How high is the acceptance of his / her work of art, is probably secondary.
Here the enthusiasts want the discussion to the "true", respectively the "not-true" artist probably connect, this is here, however, inevitable.
For the art viewer contrast, our own perception is crucial. The must not be congruent with the embassies of the artist / the artist. Well made possible by the artist intended message is hidden and yet he feels / she addressed herself.
He / she buys a piece of art and presents / suspended / installed it in the habitat or visited an idea and takes the seen and heard with. Here interested feelings, observations and findings of the receiver.
Seen one can understand art as a form of communication that makes visible Contemporary and contemporaries in a special way and consolidated.
Whether see future generations yet to be connected to these messages, is debatable.
Modern productions of Shakespeare, Schiller and many other throw such discussions again and again. Interpretations of paintings or sculptures can vary widely.
And yet the art manages the employment of people with himself and his environment
Oscar Wilde is certainly correct when he says:
"Art is the strongest form of individualism, which knows the world".
But it is without doubt the individualism with the largest collective benefit, I mean.Art does not rely on evidence and free.
Your freedom is the perfect fulfillment of the self-determined shape.
Their quality is determined only by itself.
The created is absolutely and belongs to humanity.Art is a way to escape from reality for me."Art, I am."...
